After today, I am going back to not paying attention to Mainstream media.
I was watching the briefing right at 5:30 CT and Trump (love him, hate him, I don't care) was giving his opinion on the effectiveness of the anti-malarial drug hydroxy chloroquine. His thoughts were purely anecdotal in terms of evidence and he states his belief that it works.
You could flip between networks and see the bias. One network simply had on the screen "Trump on Hydroxychloroquine Prospects" another, over the same speech was flashing between 2 breaking news headlines "Trump continues to recommend anti-malarial drug against advice of some doctors" and "arthritis and Lupus patients experience shortage of hydroxychloroquine as president recommends its use for COVID-19"
Can we maybe be allowed to think and draw conclusions for ourselves when being presented with information? I know that is frowned upon these days, but it really is the best way to go.
